Haggar DMCC is the regional headquarters of Haggar Group, established in South Sudan in 1904 and present today in 8 sectors across 6 countries in Africa. Haggar builds long-term positions in agriculture, energy and ICT to provide the architecture and foundation for sustainable development across the continent. 

In 2013, Haggar Group signed an agreement with UWC to fund a two-year scholarship biennially for a high-performing student in Sudan, selected by UWC Sudan’s Selection Committee.

Haggar-UWC scholar Abrar, who completed the two-year International Baccalaureate programme, lives by the motto “Don’t tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon”.
