ISAK Summer School is an exciting opportunity for middle school students from around the world to live and learn together at the beautiful ISAK campus in Karuizawa, Japan. Summer School brings together bright, curious, motivated young people from a diverse range of countries, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds for what many students say is a “life-changing experience.”

 

ISAK Summer School focuses on leadership, mindfulness and design innovation, enabling students to become aware of themselves and others, to identify and solve problems individually and with a team, and to gain the inner strength necessary to overcome various real-world challenges. Students become more globally-minded as they develop the skills and confidence needed to become change-makers who can make a positive impact for the greater good.

Dates: 21 July to 2 August 2017
(International/Overseas students will arrive on 20 July)

Applications: note that UWC ISAK Japan is no longer accepting applications for Summer School 2017. If you would like to apply to the program for 2018 or beyond, please take the important first step and join the pre-registration list to receive further information about how and when to apply.

Capacity: Approximately 80 students

Language of Instruction: English. An intensive English course (IEC) will be offered for those students who need to improve their English skills in order to participate fully at Summer School.
