Join us on the afternoon of Sunday, September 11th for UWC Day in NYC 2016. The theme of this year will be the worldwide refugee crisis and how you can help through the UWC Refugee initiative. 
Did you know that there are more refugees now that at any time in recent history? UNHCR places the number of displaced people on Earth at 65 Million
And that more than half are children under 18?
In partnership with Blue Rose - Blue Compass, UWC is looking to admit 100 refugee scholars every year. Come network with fellow UWCers and learn more about the current, tragic, situation and how we, the UWC New York community, can help raise funds towards refugee scholarships.
