Nandita Dinesh (UWC Mahindra College, 2000-2022), a Theater teacher at UWC USA as well as a former Theater teacher at MUWCI, put her love for theater into words. The result is the publication of her second book “Memos from a Theatre Lab”, which focuses on immersive and traditional theatre at #UWCUSA.

“Having experimented with Immersive Theatre in Kashmir -- where I work every summer -- I have come to see the need for a more rigorous way to understand how this form affects its spectators, in a setting that is less fraught than an active conflict zone. Hence these experiments in my theatre 'lab' at UWC-USA, with my wonderful students becoming my collaborators. Ultimately, this experiment is part of a larger effort to understand the place for theatre in times/places of war”, she said.
