Fatema spent her whole life in a refugee camp in Lebanon, until 2017 when she became a part of the UWC and UWC Mostar family in Bosnia-Herzegovina 

“I really appreciate the system of education here because of the balancing between the academic life and extra curricular activities, that really helped me to engage with the society here even more. My life changed a lot and even my way of thinking and behaving , for the better. In my future plans I am thinking of taking a gap year to help or volunteer in the UWC movement so that others’ lives would change for the better like mine…”
