Juliana Bitarabeho
Council Member
Juliana Bitarabeho is passionate about healthcare and her role at the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Physicians (ECSACOP) is centred around ensuring the strategic sustainability of the college. ECSACOP aims to improve access to well-trained physicians across the region by establishing a network of training centres and implementing an internationally recognised postgraduate medical qualification. The college will ultimately improve health outcomes for the region’s 200 million inhabitants, focusing on centres serving the rural population.
Juliana is a proud alumna of Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA (2001 – 2008). She has been actively involved in the UWC Uganda National Committee since 2014. Juliana is also a World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Shaper at the Kampala Hub. Juliana engages her passion for education and future leaders by working with students and changemakers from around the globe. She also mentors, provides technical assistance and leadership to local youth groups.
