UWC schools and colleges celebrate milestone anniversaries

6 October 2024

Recently, several UWC schools and colleges marked significant anniversaries, celebrating their journeys and the impact they have made on students from around the world.

In August, UWC ISAK Japan reflected on a decade of transformative education as it celebrated its 10th anniversary, having welcomed 521 graduates from 127 countries and fostering a community committed to making a difference.

Following this, in September, Pearson College UWC marked an impressive 50 years since its founding. Beginning with just 100 pioneering students who helped build the campus, the college has since embraced nearly 4,800 students from over 150 countries, all sharing the UWC values of peace and sustainability.

October brought further celebrations, as UWC Robert Bosch College proudly marked its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, the college has developed a unique curriculum focused on sustainability and peacebuilding, with 886 students graduating and 96% receiving full or partial scholarships.

The celebrations included panel discussions, performances, and alumni reunions, showcasing the community’s commitment to fostering leadership and social change.

These milestones reflect the dedication of UWC schools and colleges to creating a better world through education.
