Doing Good (Hybrid)

UWC Short Course: Doing Good is a collaboration between the UWC Short Course organisers and Outward Bound Vietnam with consultation and programme adaptation from Harvard Graduate School of Education’s ‘The Good Project’.
The camp aims to bring together eager high school students from across the world to Bình Định to answer the question: “What is good work and how do we do it?”
- 1/7/2024 - 5/7/2024 (online component): Students spend the first week of the programme getting acquainted with facilitators and familiarising themselves with the course materials via an online curriculum.
- 7/7/2024 - 17/7/2024 (in-person component): Students will meet in Binh Dinh and participate in a series of offline activities, such as physical activities, site visits, volunteering, and workshops to experience real-world applications of Doing Good.
*Students are expected to travel to Binh Dinh, Vietnam on Sunday 07/07/2024. Refer to our FAQs for transportation information in Binh Dinh, Vietnam.

Participant age requirement: Eligible applicants must be born between 18 July, 2006 and 31 December, 2009 to fit our 15-17 age criteria
Language of course facilitation: English
Application information: Find the application form here. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. However, for scholarship considerations and priority admissions, applications received by 22 April 2024 will be given precedence.
Course fee: $1,950 USD (Need-based scholarships available. Students will still need to provide for their airfare and medical insurance.)
