Khantey is in Grade 12 at UWCSEA East. She joined the College in Grade 8 in August 2014 after being awarded a 5-year UWCSEA scholarship for Cambodian students. She plays on the senior badminton team and is currently leading the Cambodian dance group for the annual CultuRama, which celebrates the panorama of cultures at UWCSEA East.

"They say life begins at the end of your comfort zone, hence studying here at UWCSEA is my life starting point! ... Through all these years, I have had my ups, and downs, I cry, I smile, I laugh, I’ve experienced everything (more to come) ... If I could go back in time, if I knew that I will face those challenges, I would still love to come here again ... because they are once in a lifetime experiences."
