“Before coming to UWC Atlantic College, I always hoped to participate in a service that protects and supports the environment. I am a proud member of the Environmental Faculty. One of my favorite things is being surrounded by a beautiful and healthy environment. I love being in the valley doing various amazing jobs (harvesting, pulling weeds, hydroponics, bee garden, etc…).

One of the most interesting parts of being in the Environmental Faculty is when we all work as a team, sharing ideas and supporting each other. I am really happy, because now I can be one of the members that protect the environment and look for a sustainable future. I really feel as though I have become enriched from these experiences. Now, I can consider the environment first and before anyone. I believe that even though I am participating in small steps, these steps are in the right direction for achieving sustainability.”
