Places available for YLC France
The National Committee of France has a few places left on its Youth Leadership Camp, held in the French Alps in July 2009.

The Camp offers young people aged from 15 to 17 an opportunity to come
together to learn more about how they can positively contribute and
make a difference in society through taking part in interactive
workshops and discussions on topics such as leadership, social justice,
conflict resolution and cultural diversity. Participants will also take
part in music, arts and theatre and outdoor activities including
mountain biking and swimming. They are also encouraged to share or
teach something they are passionate about to the group. The course is
held in Megève in the French Alps, 70km from Geneva from 11 -25 July.
- To
apply, you need to be between 15 and 17 years and be able to take part
in discussions in English. Full and partial scholarships are available.
- Youth Leadership Camp France was initiated by the National Committee of
France in 2008 and is running for a second year in 2009. It is modelled
on the Pearson Seminar on Youth Leadership , which is organised by
Lester B Pearson UWC of the Pacific and takes place every July.
