My first job was with the British Diplomatic Service – I would never have got the job without the international exposure gained through UWC.

“UWC has had a significant impact on my life and my career choices. My first job was with the British Diplomatic Service – I would never have got the job without the international exposure gained through UWC; my second job was as an investment banker – a good friend of mine from UWC suggested that I look at investment banking.
“UWC was much more international than my British high school with a more varied curriculum. The International Baccalaureate programme requires you take six subjects so I was able to mix science and arts at pre-university level. I believe I am a better communicator as a result of this and I am sure my international outlook stems from my time at UWC”.
