Experiencing UWC in weeks

UWC short programmes are currently taking place across the globe organised by schools, colleges, national committees and alumni groups.

In June, the annual initiative for peace took place in Timor-Leste, organised by students and staff at UWCSEA and the second International Summer School on Peace and Conflict Resolution was held at UWC in Mostar in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

In Spain, a brand new course, Action x Change is currently taking place. - read the blog here and the latest ¡Integrando a México! course starts on 8 July.

Following later in July is the annual Pearson Youth Leadership Summit at Pearson College UWC and The Arava Valley of Peace summer course in Israel. In August, a new short course organised by the German national committees will take place in Freiburg, Germany, with the theme ‘Taking responsibility: Reducing my footprint on the world.’ The fourth edition of the Sino-Japan Youth Conference, at Li Po Chun UWC and the second Global Leadership Forum, at UWC-USA are also in August.

These diverse programmes are educating hundreds of young people across themes including youth leadership, peace and conflict, sustainability and social entrepreneurship.
